The Entrepreneur, The Artist, The Manager

Inside every thriving business owner, there’s often a trio of powerful energies at play, the entrepreneur, the artist, and the manager. Learning how to balance and nurture each one can be the difference between chaos and clarity, burnout and breakthrough, vision and execution. When I first entered the world of business, I didn’t call myself a businesswoman.

I was an artist, not necessarily with paint and brushes, but with ideas, words, visuals, and energy. I saw beauty in storytelling, in people, in the design of experiences. I wanted to explore the world of business from an artist's point of view! Whether I was diving into alternative medicine, working in therapeutics, designing in UX/UI, or guiding through coaching, this theme kept repeating itself.

I was so focused on the outcome that I ignored the work it actually takes to get there. As an artist I was messy, wanting to connect all my ideas into one gorgeous mess of creation.  I didn’t care about strategy, I just wanted to create. But then… reality hit. Bills. Burnout. Boundaries. I realized that no matter how beautiful my ideas were, they couldn’t hold up without a container. So I tried to become a manager. I created my own brand where I combined all of these worlds into one and between you and I? It worked. As the manager of my previous brand, I had the freedom to bring my ideas to life while also embracing the responsibility of leading my own vision. But there was one missing piece that kept showing up over and over, can you guess what it was?

Being a manager means handling people, situations, and entire teams, something I felt I couldn’t build on my own. I became so protective of my brand that I hesitated to share it with the world until I felt confident navigating complex challenges like copyright issues, social media exposure, and external opinions. In trying to manage everything alone, I unintentionally turned into a one-person show, one that became nearly impossible to sustain.

And then, somewhere between burnout and breakthroughs, I met my inner entrepreneur. I used to almost flinch at the word “entrepreneur”, it felt too broad, too cliché. But as I stepped into the world of entrepreneurship, I discovered there were others just like me, people who wanted to build something meaningful, lay down strong foundations, and then move on to the next exciting challenge. As I ventured deeper into business coaching, I realized I was carving out a path that allowed me the freedom to support others in bringing their visions to life while observing, guiding, and empowering from the sidelines.

This led me to the world of investments, real estate, and MBA studies for entrepreneurs!

Still building. Still believing. Always becoming.
Still building. Still believing. Always becoming.

The bottom line is this - you actually need all three to thrive. The synergy is where the magic happens. A thriving business isn’t built on just bold ideas, aesthetic vibes, or organized spreadsheets - it’s the combination of all three. The entrepreneur drives vision and innovation. The artist creates emotional connection and uniqueness. The manager builds the structure that keeps it all running. When they work together, that’s when your business becomes unstoppable.

Real Talk for Business Owners:

Chances are, you naturally lean more into one of these roles. Maybe you’re bursting with ideas but can’t seem to execute them. Or maybe you’ve got the systems down but feel disconnected from your purpose. Wherever you are, the invitation is to integrate!

Ask yourself:

-When was the last time I let myself create without an outcome in mind?

-Are my current systems helping me grow, or just keeping me busy?

-Have I recently revisited or revised my long-term business vision?

Remember, running a business is one part strategy, one part soul, and one part structure. Mastering the dance between these three inner personas isn’t about being perfect, it’s about becoming aware of how you lead and where you might be out of sync. So, which one are you leading with today? Ready to align your creativity, clarity, and consistency? Schedule a consultation now, and let’s explore how to apply these strategies to drive your business forward with intention and impact!
